Holly Fox-Lee is a 2009 graduate of Central Saint Martins gaining a BA (hons) in Fashion Design Print.
Holly’s graduate collection is inspired by the ‘krump’ dance craze, a movement she discovered whilst interning with Jeremy Scott in LA in 2007. Films such as Blade Runner and Escape from LA further influence the collection with Holly translating the sci-fi futurism into modern fabrics. PVC is manipulated using foam tubing whilst trousers and shorts keep their exaggerated silhouette with the use of a tailored, hardwearing canvas.
The unique aesthetic is facilitated using numerous design techniques from flocking, screen-printing with digital pigment, digital printing, devore and tie dying.
Holly’s industry experience includes work placements with Jeremy Scott in Los Angeles, Cassette Playa, Harriet Hundermarc, Tatty Devine, and Brewsters ltd based in London. Her graduate collection was sponsored by Nike and since graduation, has been offered freelance print design work with Louis Vuitton.
Holly is currently working on collaborations with other designers whilst planning to study an MA course at CSM.
